Barrios de Oaxaca (B2-C2)

Service Description

Oaxaca is a city rich in history and culture, with neighborhoods established since colonial times. This course includes four tertulias, during which students will have the opportunity to learn about the magic and culture of each neighborhood. The teacher will share the most relevant facts about these neighborhoods and encourage conversation and interaction among participants to practice their Spanish and acquire new vocabulary related to the topic. During this course, students will learn, discuss and converse about the highlights and hidden gems of different barrios of the city of Oaxaca, such as Barrio de Jalatlaco, Barrio de Xochimilco, Barrio del Carmen Alto, Barrio de la Soledad, Barrio de Consolación, Barrio de la China, Barrio del Marquesado, Barrio de San Juan Chapultepec. This will give participants more elements to apply in their interactions with the rest of the group and their teacher. This course is ideal for students with an upper Intermediate level (B2) and advanced levels (C1 & C2)

Cancellation Policy

Private classes can be canceled or rescheduled 24 hours before the class. Group classes or tertulias can be canceled up to 3 days before the first class.
