Birds from the Selva Lacandona

Service Description

Throughout four weekly one-hour sessions in our "tertulia course," each student will receive unique information about a specific bird species. This set of "tertulias" will allow each participant to share and complement their knowledge of the bird with others in the group. The information shared will cover the physical characteristics of the bird, its lifestyle habits, as well as cultural and historical information related to the bird's interaction with its natural environment and human populations. This course includes four sessions on four different birds living in the "Selva Lacandona" in Chiapas. Week 1 - La guacamaya roja Week 2 - El quetzal. Week 3 - El Colibrí Week 4 - El pavón cornudo. This course is ideal for students with a beginner and lower intermediate level of Spanish.

Cancelation Policy

Private classes can be canceled or rescheduled 24 hours before the class. Group classes or tertulias can be canceled up to 3 days before the first class.
